States Win Sacramento

States Win Sacramento (formerly Sister District Sacramento) grows progressive power and policy by supporting state legislative candidates each year. Our goal is to help progressive, values-based candidates hold onto power or take power in swing districts and battleground states. We help our candidates with fundraising and voter contact such as phonebanking and postcarding. 

In 2026, we will support three endorsed States Win candidates seeking election or re-election to swing state legislatures – Del. Kevin Volk in Arizona plus two other states.

We also partner with neighborhood democratic and grassroots organizations to grow our power locally.

At States Win Sacramento, we have a great community, make a real impact, and have fun along the way.

OUR 2024 IMPACT

Supported Dante Pittman for the North Carolina statehouse and ended the Republican supermajority. (He flipped his district by just 871 votes!)
Helped AZ Rep. Lorena Austin win re-election by 2,992 votes.
Helped Kevin Volk win his first election to the AZ House by 5,000+ votes!
